It's official, Spectate is live and has been launched on Product Hunt!

I am super excited to introduce you to Spectate, our all-in-one platform for monitoring, alerting, incident management, and status pages.

Spectate started as an internal tool to satisfy our monitoring and alerting needs, but it has grown into a complete platform with the help of AI automation. This means your team can focus on what's important - getting issues resolved.

One of the coolest features of Spectate is our next-level automated status pages. When your service goes down, it automatically generates a public incident report. Once it's resolved, it keeps an eye out for an extra couple of minutes before permanently resolving the incident. If it goes down again during this cooldown period, it'll re-open the same incident. This means your team can focus on resolving the issue while AI provides updates to your users.

We also pride ourselves on being insanely fast with down notifications. According to the feedback we've received, we're faster at sending down notifications than most of the competition. This is partly due to our fast 30-second interval for heartbeats and our focus on getting that notification to you ASAP.

But what if you're offline? No worries! You can set up a phone number to receive calls and SMS notifications. This way, you'll still receive alerts even if you're not connected to the internet. You can even acknowledge incidents by phone so you won't be reminded about them anymore.

Spectate also allows you to monitor your website's performance from around the globe. We have multiple locations set up, including Amsterdam, Miami, Sydney, and more!

We're grateful for all 60+ testers who joined during the technical preview and public beta in the last few months. Their valuable feedback has made Spectate an even better service every day. So far, we've performed over 20 million health checks and we're still growing!
