We're back with another exciting announcement for Spotlight Week! Today, we're introducing you to our new Intercom integration, designed to reduce support burden during incidents.
With our Intercom integration, you can connect your status page to your Intercom workspace, providing a seamless way to inform your customers about the current service status.
When an incident occurs, your customers can see the status directly in the Intercom messenger, reducing the likelihood of support requests and enabling them to plan accordingly.
We're very excited to announce the Spectate app for Intercom is available starting today!
When you're experiencing an incident, you're most likely busy trying your best to resolve it as soon as possible.
By integrating your Spectate status page in your Intercom messenger your agents will be able to quickly send incident updates in the chat.
What's even better is the fact that you will reduce the number of support queries from customers by proactively showing service status and incident updates on your messenger's home page.
Connecting Spectate with your Intercom is as easy as 1-2-3. Just visit the Intercom App Store, look up Spectate and press Install.
You'll be asked to grant Spectate access to your workspace (we require the bare minimum of permissions) and then select the status page you want to connect.
