At Spectate, we're committed to helping you improve the reliability of your websites and applications. We believe that reliability shouldn't come at a high cost, which is why we're excited to announce that today we announce a major update to our pricing plans making them more affordable and accessible for businesses of all sizes to improve their reliability and efficiency in incident management.
The honest answer: Pricing is hard.
We have received a lot of feedback since we launched with our original pricing, mostly about the steep upgrade from the (now old) Solo to the Pro plan. This made us realise after all this time that we have to change things around to accelerate our growth.
After all this time, we have a clearer picture of what our costs are in practice, and how to scale healthily (we are still a bootstrapped business after all.). Because of this, we have revisited our pricing strategy and have come up with new plans.
we've introduced four new plans to satisfy different business needs and sizes. Here's a brief overview of each plan:
Next to introducing cheaper pricing, we have also made some changes to certain limits. For example, monitors and servers (both a resource for website & infrastructure monitoring respectively) are now combined.
This makes each plan more flexible and fits more business this way. Maybe even yours!
Let's start off by saying we're still the same. We're still bootstrapped, have not been influenced by external investors (nor have received any) and always aim to provide the most reliable observability platform out there.
Current customers who are on a legacy plan do not have to worry: your plan stays as-is until you decide to change plans yourself. Same price with the same features.
Also, we still have a free forever plan to get you started.
We have made lots of huge changes and improvements over the last couple of months and have a bright future ahead of us.
If you have any questions or feedback, do let us know! We do appreciate honest feedback a lot. It is what makes us better for all of you.
