# Spectate integrations

> Where Spectate sends alerts, which tools can fire alerts into it, and how status pages connect to the rest of your stack.

## Alert channels

### Slack

Alerts with an Acknowledge button, and a channel for every incident.

- Alerts update in place when they're acknowledged or resolved
- /incident to declare an incident, post an update or resolve it
- Publish to your status page from a Slack modal

### Microsoft Teams

Alerts as cards in a channel, with the chart attached.

- Adaptive cards with the failure explained
- Resolved notifications

### Discord

Alert embeds in a channel through a webhook.

- Embeds with status, cause and chart
- Resolved notifications

### Telegram

Alerts from the Spectate bot, acknowledged from the message.

- Private chats and groups
- Acknowledge from the message

### Email

Alert mails that explain the failure and what to check first.

- Plain-words cause and next steps
- Resolved mails with a timeline

### SMS

Text messages for alerts and on-call pages.

- 1 credit per message, monthly credits on every plan
- Packs of 100 credits for €19 that never expire

### Phone calls

Reads the alert out. Press 1 to acknowledge.

- Used by on-call steps
- 2 credits per call

### Pushover

Push notifications on iOS, Android and desktop.

- Fired and resolved notifications
- Chart attached as an image

### Webhooks

A JSON POST to your endpoint when an alert fires and resolves.

- Fired and resolved events
- chart_url for the PNG chart

## Alert sources

### Grafana

Point a contact point at Spectate; it resolves when Grafana does.

- Optional HMAC signature check
- Panel and dashboard links kept

### Prometheus Alertmanager

A webhook receiver, deduplicated on the alert's fingerprint.

- send_resolved supported
- Severity from the severity label

### Sentry

Issue and metric alerts from sentry.io or self-hosted Sentry.

### Generic webhook

Fire and resolve alerts from any tool or script.

### Email

Every source has an address too; the subject becomes the alert.
