# About Spectate

Spectate is a monitoring, alerting and incident management platform made by Fjordlane Holding B.V. in Papendrecht, The Netherlands. It started as an internal tool for our own projects, became public in 2023 and was rebuilt from scratch as Spectate 2 in 2026.

We are self-funded and independent. That shapes the product: prices per monitor instead of per seat, no free plan to subsidise, a calm interface, and data and billing in the EU.
